Joint IMPRS Lectures

During the winter and summer semester, the two graduate schools at the MPI campus in Martinsried, IMPRS-BI and IMPRS-ML, organise a weekly lecture given by one of their faculty members. The broad scope of the lecture series covers various aspects of biochemistry, structural biology, biophysics, cell biology, systems biology, computational biology, neuroscience, behavioral ecology and evolutionary biology.

To make the lecture series accessible for all, faculty members are encouraged to give broad introductions to their chosen topic. Through these lectures, students have the opportunity to learn about new techniques, cutting-edge research and the latest results from neighboring research groups. The interdisciplinary nature of the lecture series gives students the opportunity to think about their own research in a different light.
