Welcome to the International Max Planck Research School - Biological Intelligence (IMPRS-BI) 

IMPRS-BI is an elite PhD program associated with the Max Planck Institute for Biological Intelligence. In close cooperation with the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) and the Technical University of Munich (TUM), we offer structured training and cutting-edge research opportunities in more than 30 laboratories to international doctoral students, thus preparing them for a successful career in the life sciences, with a special emphasis on behavior, ecology, neuroscience, connectomics and evolutionary genetics.
